Head Chef

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our team at Diageo Shieldhall in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment, delivering a high-quality catering service to our client., As Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day culinary operations, developing menus, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and leading a small kitchen team to success. Your passion for food and commitment to excellence will help deliver a first-class service experience for our customers.,

• Lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food standards
• Plan and create menus in line with client requirements and company guidelines
• Manage stock control, wastage, and food production planning
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, and allergen policies
• Build strong working relationships with the client and wider on-site teams
• Deliver excellent customer satisfaction through quality, presentation and service
  Proven experience in a Head Chef or senior kitchen role, ideally within a contract catering or similar environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team
• Excellent culinary skills and creative flair for menu design
• Organised, calm under pressure, and focused on high standards
• Confident with food safety, compliance, and hygiene procedures, Food Safety Level 3, IOSH Managing Safely
