Data Manager
A welcoming Primary School in the London Borough of Greenwich is seeking an experienced Data Manager to join its support staff team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and analytical professional who enjoys working with data and understands the important role accurate information plays in supporting school improvement. The successful candidate will oversee the school's management information systems while ensuring pupil, attendance and assessment data is maintained accurately, securely and efficiently.
Working alongside the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, you will manage all aspects of pupil data, produce attendance and attainment reports, coordinate statutory returns and provide valuable information that supports strategic planning and decision-making.
You will maintain pupil records, process admissions and leavers, oversee assessment data collection, prepare reports for governors and senior leaders and ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection legislation. You will also provide support and training for staff using Arbor, Bromcom or SIMS while identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes and administrative efficiency.
The role requires excellent analytical skills, advanced IT knowledge and exceptional attention to detail. You will be confident working with large volumes of data while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
The successful candidate will be proactive, organised and committed to supporting the school's continued success through high-quality data management.

Requirements
Previous Data Manager or school data experience
Experience using Arbor, SIMS or Bromcom
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent analytical and organisational abilities
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of GDPR and data protection legislation
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
