Plumber and or Heating Engineer

• Temp for 4 week to then move to a perm contract
• Location SW London / Surrey
• 200 per day
• Mon - Fri, Overtime and Weekends available
• Full UK Driving Licence (required) with own Van

We am seeking a skilled Plumber and/or Heating Engineer to work along side the owner, responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating systems, plumbing in bathrooms and general plumbing in residential properties, but also be able to work on your own as well. The ideal candidate will possess a wide range of knowledge and be proficient in using hand and power tools. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality workmanship, ensuring that all heating systems operate efficiently and effectively.

Duties

• Be able to install, maintain, and repair various heating systems including boilers, radiators, and underfloor heating and general plumbing.
• 1st Fix, 2nd Fix plumbing and heating, especially bathrooms.
• Be able to conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify issues within heating systems and general plumbing.
• Plumb new installations according to industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters to ensure seamless integration of plumbing and heating systems within properties.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used for each job.
• Adhere to all safety protocols while working on-site to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or in a similar role is preferred.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Valid full clean UK driving licence is required for transportation between job sites.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to engage in lifting tasks as required by the job demands.
• Own tools and liability insurance.
