The Team

The experienced Programme Manager will lead the delivery of a strategic

project across the IT, Finance and Treasury domains. This role demands a strong background in project and programme management, ideally with expertise in delivery IT projects, financial operations and treasury processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a complex programme of work from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Programme Delivery : Lead the programme from inception to completion. You'll develop and maintain integrated programme plans, timelines, and budgets, and manage risks and issues (RAID). You'll oversee the successful implementation of solutions, including a new Treasury Management System and various banking integration and automation initiatives

  • Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Treasury, and IT to align programme priorities with business objectives. You'll facilitate governance forums and steering committees to ensure smooth decision-making.

  • Financial Oversight : Support accurate financial reporting and manage the programme budget effectively. You'll ensure all activities comply with internal controls, audit requirements, and relevant financial regulations.

  • Team Leadership : Coordinate cross-functional teams, including the Finance Shared Service Centre (FSSC), Treasury, and IT. You'll also manage external vendors and service providers to ensure the timely and quality delivery of all project components.

What you’ll bring

  • Strong background in programme and project management, particularly within IT, Finance, and Treasury environments

  • Proven track record of delivering complex IT projects, ideally within a multinational or matrixed organisation

  • Familiarity with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) like FIS and experience with large-scale technology deployments, particularly with SAP, is a significant advantage

  • Experience delivering integrations with various banking networks

  • Strong understanding of financial systems, banking operations, and cash forecasting

  • Proven senior stakeholder management (e.g., CFO, Group Finance Controller)

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and have solid change management experience

  • Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)

  • Background degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferable.
