We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified SEN Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking school in Croydon. This is an exciting opportunity to work with Secondary aged children who require additional support to achieve their full potential.
As a Qualified SEN Teacher in Croydon, you will be responsible for planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health needs. This role in Croydon involves working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and senior leaders to provide a high-quality education and training experience for every learner.
The successful Qualified SEN Teacher will have strong classroom management skills and a passion for inclusive practice. Based in Croydon, you will teach Secondary aged children, adapting the curriculum to meet EHCP targets and individual learning plans. This SEN Teacher position offers excellent opportunities for professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Secondary aged children
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
* Work collaboratively with support staff and parents
* Create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
* Contribute to wider education and training initiatives within the school
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience working with Secondary aged children with SEN
* Strong understanding of inclusive education and training practices
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
