A high-performing Tier 2 Main Contractor, with a turnover of £500M, is seeking an ambitious and driven Project Director to join their growing team. Operating across London and the South East, this contractor has built a strong reputation for delivering large-scale new build residential and student accommodation schemes to the highest standard.

The role offers the opportunity to lead a flagship new build project in North West London while also taking ownership of a scheme in pre-construction. You’ll play a pivotal role in managing delivery teams, driving programmes, and ensuring the successful handover of complex projects.

The Role

Act as the No.1 Project Director on site, overseeing all aspects of delivery from pre-construction through to completion.

Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring high performance and clear communication across all disciplines.

*

Manage client relationships, ensuring expectations are exceeded throughout the project lifecycle.

*

Oversee budgets, programmes, and quality standards, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within cost.

*

Provide leadership and direction at pre-construction stage, supporting bids and project set-up.

About You

Proven experience as a Project Director or a Senior Project Manager ready to step up.

Strong background delivering large new build residential or student accommodation schemes.

Commercially aware, with the ability to manage complex budgets and programmes.
