You would be joining a highly successful Computing department that is committed to preparing students for the rapidly evolving digital world. The department benefits from modern computer suites, specialist programming software and excellent ICT facilities, allowing students to develop practical programming skills alongside a thorough understanding of computational thinking.
Students follow a carefully sequenced curriculum covering programming, algorithms, cyber security, computer systems and data representation. Lessons are practical, engaging and encourage students to become confident problem-solvers while developing the technical knowledge required for GCSE and A-Level success.
The department has established strong links with local technology companies and universities, offering students opportunities to participate in coding competitions, robotics projects, hackathons and STEM enrichment events.
