A highly regarded Catholic primary school in Hammersmith is seeking a qualified Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from September 2026.

Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant – Full-Time
Term Time Only | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
Location: Hammersmith
Start Date: September 2026

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the Reception and Nursery teams to support children's learning, development, and wellbeing. You will play a key role in delivering engaging learning activities, supporting children's communication and social development, and helping to create a positive and stimulating Early Years environment.

The successful candidate will be passionate about Early Years education and committed to helping children develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting teaching and learning within Nursery and Reception
  • Delivering targeted support to individuals and small groups
  • Assisting with observations and learning journeys
  • Supporting children's personal, social, and emotional development
  • Helping to create engaging indoor and outdoor learning experiences
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Level 3 EYFS TA - Outstanding Primary in Hammersmith you will:

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working within an EYFS setting
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive, nurturing, and proactive approach
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Level 3 EYFS
