Are you a qualified Pharmacy Technician with experience in medicines management and ward-based hospital pharmacy services? We are currently seeking a dedicated Band 5/6 Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician to join a dynamic Medicines Management Team in Croydon.

This full-time locum opportunity offers competitive rates of up to £24.04 per hour for Band 5 and £27.00 per hour for Band 6 , providing an excellent opportunity to develop your experience while making a meaningful contribution to patient care and medicines optimisation.

What You Will Do

* Deliver ward-based medicines management services to support high-quality patient care and optimise medication use.
* Undertake a range of duties as a Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician to support ward-based teams.
* Support medicines optimisation initiatives , working closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
* Assist with medicines reconciliation , helping to ensure medication records are accurate and up to date.
* Liaise with pharmacists, nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes and effective service delivery.
* Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation in line with service requirements.
* Provide essential ward-based pharmacy support across a range of hospital services.

Requirements

* GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician is essential.
* Previous experience working as a Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician within an NHS hospital .
* Experience delivering ward-based medicines management services.
* Experience using Cerner systems.
* Ability to work independently with strong organisational skills.
* Previous experience within a hospital pharmacy setting.

Desirable Requirements

* Previous Band 6 Medicines Management experience.
* Experience working within an acute NHS hospital environment.
