ECT Teacher of RS - Harrow
An Outstanding Secondary School in Harrow is seeking a permanent, full-time ECT Teacher of Religious Studies, starting January 2026. This role is in a strong Humanities department focused on ethical debate and critical inquiry.

Responsibilities
- The ECT Teacher of RS will deliver rigorous tuition across Key Stages 3 and 4 (GCSE).
- The teacher is responsible for driving high attainment and promoting advanced ethical reasoning, philosophical debate, and critical textual analysis for GCSE.
- They must actively engage with the school's ECT support and mentoring programme.
- The ECT Teacher of RS is expected to contribute to consistent high academic outcomes and participate proactively in curriculum planning.
Requirements
- Holds or is soon to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has the right to work in the UK.
- Holds a Degree or has experience teaching Religious Studies.
