Responsibilities

• The ECT Teacher of RS will deliver rigorous tuition across Key Stages 3 and 4 (GCSE).
• The teacher is responsible for driving high attainment and promoting advanced ethical reasoning, philosophical debate, and critical textual analysis for GCSE.
• They must actively engage with the school's ECT support and mentoring programme.
• The ECT Teacher of RS is expected to contribute to consistent high academic outcomes and participate proactively in curriculum planning.

Requirements

• Holds or is soon to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has the right to work in the UK.
• Holds a Degree or has experience teaching Religious Studies.
