Head/Aspiring Head RVN - North West London

An expanding, progressive small animal practice in North West London is seeking a motivated Head RVN (or an experienced RVN ready to step into leadership) to join their collaborative team.

The purpose-built surgery features an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, digital X-ray, and dental X-ray, supported by a team of 3.5 Vets, 1 RVN, 3 SVNs, 1 VCA, a Practice Manager, and visiting specialists.

Schedule & Key Duties:

• Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week) with flexible rota options. Part-time hours considered for the right candidate.
• Weekend Rota: 1 in 3 Saturdays (with time off in lieu).
• Out-of-Hours: None.
• Responsibilities: Clinical coaching for student nurses, leading nurse-led clinics (obesity, diabetic, behavioural), performing Schedule 3 procedures (including dental scale and polish), routine checks, and driving practice development.

Candidate Requirements:

• Established Head RVN or experienced nurse looking for the next step in their career.
• Strong communication skills with an enthusiastic, lead-by-example leadership style.
• Clinical coach qualification is an advantage (training can be fully supported).

Package & Remuneration:

• Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum pro rata (depending on experience).
• CPD: £500 annual allowance with 2 days paid study leave (CPD fully supported).
