Job title:Senior Technical Business Analyst

Location : London (2/3 days per week onsite)

Contract: 6 months initially with possible extension.

Rate : 600 – 650 inside IR35

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support the implementation and rollout of a new strategic Third–Party Risk Management (TPRM) platform . This role will work closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, project teams, and implementation partners to capture requirements, analyse processes, support system integration, and ensure a successful transition to the new solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business analysis activities as part of a project replacing an existing Third–Party Risk Management platform with a new external solution.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
  • Analyse current ("as–is") business processes and define future–state ("to–be") operating models and workflows.
  • Identify process, system, governance, and operational changes required to support implementation.
  • Work with implementation partners to map processes, assess resource impacts, and define role and responsibility changes.
  • Support solution integration activities, including test planning, test script creation, execution support, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Prepare training materials, operating procedures, user guides, and communications to support business readiness and adoption.
  • Deliver training sessions and support business users through the implementation and transition phases.
  • Present findings, recommendations, risks, and project progress to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
  • Facilitate collaboration across business and technology teams to achieve consensus and drive project outcomes.
  • Support data migration activities, including the collection and validation of supplier, contract, user, and approval data.
  • Maintain high–quality project and BA documentation to meet audit, compliance, and governance requirements.
  • Contribute to change management, cutover planning, business readiness, and post–implementation evaluation activities.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering complex technology or transformation projects.
  • Previous experience implementing or enhancing Third–Party Risk Management (TPRM) solutions, ideally including ProcessUnity or similar platforms.
  • Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and documentation skills.
  • Experience supporting software implementations, testing, business readiness, cutover, and training activities.
  • Demonstrated experience working within regulated environments, preferably financial services.
  • Experience delivering projects involving business process, system, and operational change.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at senior levels.
  • Experience working within project and programme delivery teams in deadline–driven environments.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree educated or equivalent practical experience.
  • Business Analysis certification (e.g., BCS, CBAP, PMI–PBA) beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and problem–solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proven capability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross–functional teams.
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and detailed levels.
