Senior Prime Sales
CMC Markets is a leading global provider of online trading, offering award-winning platforms, advanced technology, and exceptional client service. We’re now seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Prime Sales professional to join our growing Institutional team. This is a pivotal role, where you’ll leverage your network, market expertise, and drive to build strong, long-term client relationships across London and the Middle East.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Develop and grow CMC’s institutional client base across London and the Middle East.
- Drive growth of your own client portfolio through a market-leading proposition.
- Generate business opportunities via client referrals, networking, and industry contacts.
- Represent CMC at client and prospect events, supporting with tailored material in partnership with education and marketing teams.
- Collaborate with local teams to enhance acquisition, retention, and trading activity.
Account Management
- Deliver proactive, high-quality relationship management across your client book.
- Analyse and communicate CMC’s unique selling points versus competitors, supporting clients’ decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to educate clients on products and services.
- Continuously improve client experience through tailored insights and service enhancements.
- Represent CMC professionally, ensuring clear, fair, and consistent service at all times.
- Build relationships beyond the office – including client entertainment, events, and out-of-hours networking.
Product & Platform Expertise
- Act as the product and platform expert, demonstrating and educating clients with confidence.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to address client requirements with IT and trading solutions.
- Maximise client satisfaction – and revenue – through platform training and support.
Media & Thought Leadership
- Contribute to media commentary (written and verbal) as required, showcasing CMC’s expertise.
- Provide insightful market commentary for PR and client communications.
Compliance & Professional Development
- Adhere to local and global compliance frameworks and regulatory standards.
- Maintain professional development in line with evolving regulations and industry practice.
Key Skills & Experience
- Established network within the institutional trading sector.
- Strong knowledge and passion for financial markets, derivatives, and margin trading products.
- Proven track record in financial sales and institutional relationship management.
- Highly motivated, ambitious, and commercially aware with the ability to identify opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills – articulate, confident, and persuasive both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong attention to detail.
- Flexible, proactive, and collaborative team player.
- Willingness to commit to client engagement outside of traditional working hours.
