Your background will involve contributing across projects including data engineering, technology architecture solution implementation, product selection and application strategy definition, or the introduction of technology to drive business improvement into an operational organisation. Our team has the remit to operate in multiple industries, including Financial Services, Resources, Products, Communications and Health & Public Services. In our team, you will:
- Help clients harness data and AI technologies to solve business challenges, through the delivery of complex data programmes
- Help clients design, develop, deploy, and run high quality data engineering and AI solutions across a range of industries with varying business and organisational challenges
- Work with latest technology solutions from industry and academia and learn how to apply them to solve real world customer problems
- Help manage our wider Data Engineering practice and capability
- Oversee the development of use-case and platform technology solutions to tackle critical business challenges, using both reference and emerging technologies, engineering patterns, and AI Services.
- You will focus on formulating real-world problems into practical, efficient and scalable solutions that can appropriately leverage the full cloud technology and AI spectrum.
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex solutions from inception to production and operationalisation, ensuring alignment with client needs and technical excellence.
- Provide strategic and technical leadership, shaping technology roadmaps, mentoring other developers, and fostering team growth. While ensuring the correct data architecture and patterns are used to solve the required problem.
- Play a pivotal role in the Accenture Data & AI community, driving thought leadership by sharing insights and experiences from cutting-edge client projects and research initiatives.
- Complex programme planning and delivery in the data and AI domains
- Data platform and engineering technologies and services such as Databricks, Snowflake, Palantir.
- Data services from major cloud providers such as Google Cloud, AWS, and Microsoft Azure.
- Designing and deploying robust, scalable, and secure cloud-based solutions (networking, security, storage, monitoring, scaling, disaster recovery/high availability) on one or more cloud platforms.
- Software Engineering, DevSecOps, and operational excellence in data solution delivery.
- Proven ability to deliver enterprise-scale data and AI services that impact end-user experiences and business outcomes.
- Certified cloud credentials (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional).
- Experience in leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders in delivering production-grade data and AI solutions.
