Commercial Gas Engineer

Sureserve Compliance South, part of the Sureserve Group delivers heating services within the social housing sector across London & the Southeast. We support our clients across domestic gas, commercial gas, renewables, and electrical services. Hours: 45 hour 8-6 Monday to Friday + call out (Max 1in 4)

Pay: Salary starting from £45-55k DOE + Call out and overtime = OTE £70k

Role 

The successful candidate will be responsible for

· installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial gas systems and appliances in a range of environments.

· You will ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with current regulations and standards.

· The Commercial Engineer will work closely with our engineering teams to provide technical solutions to our clients.

· You will be an COCN1 gas qualified engineer with experience in commercial gas heating and hot water systems.

  The above list of duties is not exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope of the post.

 

 

The successful candidate will have

• A friendly and professional attitude, you will build strong relationships with our clients and their tenants, ensuring all works meet the required standards.

• Experience in working on commercial gas heating and hot water systems.

• Valid Gas Safe Registration and Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN1 or CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1A or TPCP1).

• Full UK Driving License (essential).

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent (desirable).

• HNTAS/CP1 aware.

• Proven experience as a commercial gas engineer in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of heating systems, pipework, and controls.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
