Derivatives Associate
This is a genuinely hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, working closely with partners and senior lawyers on complex, high-quality financial markets work for major institutional clients. The team is small by design, offering real responsibility, visibility, and development rather than hierarchy.
The Opportunity
- Advise on a broad range of OTC derivatives and structured products matters
- Draft and negotiate ISDA documentation , confirmations and related agreements
- Work on cross-border transactions , often involving international counterparties
- Collaborate closely with partners and senior lawyers in a non-siloed, collegiate team
- Gain early exposure to clients and meaningful responsibility from day one
Experience
- England & Wales qualified (or common-law equivalent)
- 3-6 PQE within derivatives, structured products or wider financial markets
- Strong experience with ISDA / financial markets documentation
- Comfortable working at pace on technically demanding matters
- Warm, personable, and collaborative
- Commercially minded with strong judgment
- Curious, proactive, and keen to take ownership
- Someone who values culture, teamwork, and long-term growth
