A leading UK insurance provider is seeking a Strategic Bid Manager to drive excellence in bid responses and help shape the future of distribution partnerships.

We're looking for someone who can:

• Lead the end-to-end bid and tender process, including pipelining, triage, agency coordination, and reporting.
• Write compelling, win-theme focused responses for strategic bids and design impactful pitch presentations.
• Chair the Pipeline Triage Committee, owning decision-making frameworks and KPIs.
• Maintain and evolve a best-in-class Bid Library to support self-service and bespoke submissions.
• Collaborate with business leaders to showcase capabilities and enhance external market perception.
• Develop response and presentation templates to elevate brand visibility and efficiency.
• Analyse bid outcomes and feedback to identify gaps, challenge inefficiencies, and drive profitable growth.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships to improve bid inputs and streamline response times.
• Provide operational planning support to Strategic Sales teams to maximise portfolio opportunities.
• Gather market insights to strengthen broker value propositions and support distribution expansion.
• Manage operational budgets for strategic frameworks and partnerships, ensuring ROI delivery.

You'll have:

• Proven experience managing and delivering high-quality tenders under tight deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at VP/Director level.
• Advanced communication, relationship-building, and project management capabilities.
• A creative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Solid understanding of data, market dynamics, and proposition development.
• Experience working in complex, customer-facing environments.
