Site Administrator / Document Controller
Location: Central London
Salary: £17 – £20 per hour (DOE)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: 9 hours per day
About Us:
OHUK are working with a leading Mechanical & Electrical subcontractor delivering high-quality projects across London. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a proactive and organised Site Administrator / Document Controller to join the team.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support on site, ensuring all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and efficiently managed. This role is pivotal in supporting site management and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and maintain project documentation, including drawings, contracts, and reports
2. Ensure all records are up-to-date and easily accessible for site teams
3. Assist with site administration tasks, including filing, correspondence, and reporting
4. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to track documentation
5. Support compliance with company and regulatory standards
Requirements:
1. Previous experience as a Site Administrator or Document Controller within the construction sector, ideally M&E projects – essential
2. Previous document control software is desirable
3. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management systems
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a busy site team
