Nanny
We are a dual-national British-German family currently based in Hannover, Germany, but returning to London, UK in August 2026. We are looking for a nanny from September 2026 to help look after our four children aged 9, 7 and 2 (twins). Both parents have demanding careers. The two eldest children are boys, and the twins are a boy and a girl. Everyone in the family is bilingual in German and English. The elder two boys have been attending an international school, where teaching and communication from the school is primarily in English. When we move back to the UK they will attend Fulham Prep School from September 2026. The family are renting a house nearby. At home both English and German are spoken, but in order to maintain the children's German skills, we want a nanny who will speak only German with the children. We are looking for a loving, organised, and experienced nanny who can work with our family for the long term. We would prefer the nanny live out. References from our previous nannies in London and Hannover are available on request. Our current nanny in Germany will come with us to help with the transition and move to the UK, but she sadly does not have British citizenship or any other path to a work visa for the UK, which is why we are looking for a new nanny from September.
