Senior Account Manager - Maternity Cover
Pitch is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Account Manager to join our Qatar partnership team and contribute to the success of our global sports marketing projects for a minimum six-month term providing maternity cover. This role will be based in our London office.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in rights delivery, sponsorship activation, and client servicing, looking for a fixed term role within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The candidate should be a strategic thinker, a natural relationship builder and an exceptional project manager with a proven track record of delivering integrated partnership campaigns in sport.
Responsibilities:
Contractual rights management and delivery:
- Communicate effectively with Qatari entities and international rights holders — from day-to-day contacts to senior decision-makers, maintaining strong trusting relationships at all levels.
- Support Account Directors and take ownership of projects as needed.
- Execute and deliver contracted rights for clients, ensuring approvals, deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Assist in contract negotiations when required.
- Proactively identify and manage any challenges or issues.
- Manage multiple work streams and client priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Strategic consulting and implementation:
- Develop and implement activation plans aligned with client KPIs.
- Monitor partnership performance and provide recommendations for ongoing optimisation.
- Provide proactive counsel to clients based on market trends, rights holder insights and activation performances (in and out of market).
Sponsorship activation and campaign delivery:
- Create and manage activation briefs based on client objectives.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the full marketing mix — including digital, social, experiential, print, and broadcast — and deliver innovative ideas that meet contractual rights.
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to clients throughout the activation lifecycle.
- Manage and inspire third-party suppliers and agencies to deliver high-quality outputs.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Strategy, Creative, Hospitality)
- Work with Rights Holders to unlock and leverage assets, access and opportunities for client’s brand visibility and activation.
- Oversee and manage campaign budgets, reporting, and performance analysis.
- Track campaign KPIs and provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Produce post-campaign evaluations and actionable insights.
What you will have:
Expertise:
- Proven experience in account management, sponsorship rights delivery and campaign evaluation. Preferably within the sports sponsorship industry.
- Strong understanding of the sports marketing landscape, how brands leverage sponsorships for business impact and have a passion for live sport.
Communication and Presentation Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present confidently and clearly to clients and stakeholders.
Adaptability and Multitasking:
- Project management excellence including budget management, timelines and risk mitigation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise effectively, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working across cultures, time zones, and shifting timelines.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Proven experience in managing both client and internal relationships with diplomacy and professionalism.
Strategic Thinking
- Strong ability to think long-term and contribute to the strategic development of client partnerships.
- Ability to influence and secure buy-in from a range of stakeholders and departments.
What you’ll get (London based) :
- Competitive salary.
- 25 days holiday plus birthday off pro rata during the term.
- Enhanced benefits
This role is based in Pitch International’s London office but may require regular travel between London and Qatar.
