We are looking for a dedicated Damp and MouldOperative to join our team. In this role, you will visit customers' properties to assess and treatvarious typesof mould, ensuring homes are safe, clean, and compliant with health standards.You'llsupport customers by explaining the cause of damp and mould and helping them find long-term solutions. Each case will be handled with care, considering the seriousness of the problem and any customer needs.
At Places for People, we prioritise our dedication to safer recruitment. Therefore, abasic DBS check is mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities
- Attend customer properties toidentifyand treat damp and mould issues.
- Assess the type and severity of mould and applyappropriate treatmentmethods.
- Provide advice to customers on prevention and maintenance.
- Maintainaccuraterecords of visits, treatments, and materials used.
- Work safely and in line with health and safety regulations.
Essential Criteria
- Previoustrades experience (e.gproperty maintenance, plastering, joinery, or similar).
- Due to thepatchyou are covering you will need to reside in the WC postcode.
- You mustpossessa valid driving license.
More about you
We'reseeking someone withprevioustrades experience, such as property maintenance, plastering, joinery, or similar. While experience in damp and mould treatment is ideal,it'snot essential as full training will be provided.You'llneed strong attention to detail and the ability to follow technicalprocesses, along with excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach. The role also requires the ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively.
