Salesforce Technical Lead

BearingPoint is one of Europe’s leading independent, partner led technology services and business consulting organisation and a highly regarded strategic partner for our clients.

We are actively seeking a Salesforce Technical Lead (at Senior Consultant level) to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to join BearingPoint at a pivotal moment of growth and investment and help develop the UK’s most amazing Salesforce practice.

We are a people focused business with the strong belief that business success comes from enabling our colleagues to grow, follow their aspirations and have fun at what they do. We see our technology partnerships, such as Salesforce, as a key pillar of our future success in looking for the very best leading digital solutions for our clients.

Role Description:

The Salesforce Technical Lead is a hands‑on delivery role responsible for leading cross‑functional teams to design, build, and deliver Salesforce solutions. The role takes ownership of day‑to‑day technical delivery, ensuring high‑quality outcomes through best‑practice development using Apex, declarative automation, and modern DevOps approaches. The Technical Lead works independently to solve complex technical problems, including integrations, and is accountable for producing detailed technical designs, building working demos and prototypes, and supporting solution validation throughout delivery. The role works closely with Technical Architects, contributing to solution implementation while being mentored to grow architectural capability.

  • Ensuring solutions are secure, performant and aligned to platform and regulatory best practices

  • Improving the reliability, quality and maintainability of Salesforce-based solutions across our clients enterprise

  • Salesforce Technical Lead supports the Technical Architects in embedding best practice within their assigned team and across the wider engineering and Salesforce communities of practice.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Strong entrepreneurial and teamwork skills, using communication and problem-solving to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and deliver customer-focused outcomes.

  • Ensuring standard adherence: ensuring the aligned delivery team has the appropriate frameworks, coding standards, architectural patterns and ways of working to consistently deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions. Work closely with our CoE to extend/update standards as needed.

  • Strong hands-on development experience with LWC, Apex including triggers, asynchronous processing and integrations

  • Experience with Salesforce DevOps and other CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.

  • Security best practices: awareness of Salesforce security principles and secure-by-design implementation, including data protection and access control.

  • Continuous learning: coaching and developing engineering capability within the Salesforce team, contributing to a community of practice and staying current with Salesforce platform evolution

  • Provide technical leadership across dependencies where Salesforce is integrated with multiple legacy systems, with proven ability to drive technical strategy and resolve integration challenges.

  • Monitoring and troubleshooting: ability to implement monitoring, logging and proactive issue resolution across Salesforce environments.

  • Strong experience working and leading within an agile development methodology
