Salesforce Business Analyst

Outsdie IR35, Hybrid working (3 days/week in London)

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements related to Salesforce implementations and enhancements

Translate business needs into clear and concise user stories, process flows, and functional specifications

Work with Salesforce developers and administrators to ensure solutions meet business requirements

Conduct gap analysis and propose scalable Salesforce solutions to support strategic goals

Support the configuration and customisation of Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.)

Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and support business users during testing phases

Provide training, documentation, and support for end-users

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Maintain awareness of Salesforce platform updates and recommend relevant new features to stakeholders

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience as a Business Analyst working on Salesforce projects

Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations (e.g. Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning Experience)

Experience gathering and managing business requirements using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills

Ability to map and document complex business processes

Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, or similar

Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams

Desirable Qualifications

Salesforce certifications (e.g. Salesforce Administrator, Business Analyst, or other relevant credentials)

Experience working with third-party integrations or AppExchange solutions

Experience in sectors such as Public Sector, Financial Services, or Non-profit

Familiarity with data migration, data modelling, and reporting in Salesforce
