About the Role

This is a senior architecture role where you’ll sit at the centre of AI and data transformation programmes. You’ll design scalable, secure and cost-efficient cloud data platforms across AWS, Azure or GCP, ensuring they are ready to support both traditional analytics and emerging agentic AI workloads. You’ll work across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, modernising legacy systems into cloud-native architectures that support real-time data, automation and intelligent decisioning.

Alongside hands-on architecture design, you’ll play a key advisory role with clients, shaping AI strategy, data roadmaps and governance frameworks. You’ll help define how organisations embed responsible AI, manage risk, and operationalise data at scale. You’ll also contribute to delivery through proof of concepts, MVPs and early-stage solution design, often helping clients move from concept to production.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and lead enterprise cloud data and AI architectures
• Modernise legacy platforms into cloud-native, AI-ready environments
• Build scalable solutions across AWS, Azure and GCP environments
• Define data strategy, governance and AI operating models
• Deliver PoCs and MVPs to validate architecture and business value
• Advise senior stakeholders on technical direction and transformation approach

The successful applicant will have:

• Strong background in cloud, data or AI architecture roles
• Hands-on experience across AWS, Azure or GCP platforms
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, serverless or cloud-native tooling
• Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code
• Consulting or client-facing experience with strong communication skills
• Ability to translate complex technical ideas into business outcomes
