Commercial Finance Manager

Commercial Finance Manager – 4 Month FTC – GBP75,000 pro rata – London / Hybrid – Immediate Start

We are working with a large, well–established retailer looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Finance Manager on an initial 4–month fixed–term contract .

This is a highly visible role partnering with senior stakeholders across the business, providing commercial insight, challenging performance and helping drive better financial and operational decision–making.

The role:

You will take ownership of key areas of commercial finance, including:

• Partnering with senior operational and commercial stakeholders.
• Providing high–quality analysis and insight to support business decisions.
• Reviewing performance against budget and forecast, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Supporting forecasting, budgeting and longer–term financial planning.
• Developing reporting and analysis around revenue, margin, costs and profitability.
• Challenging stakeholders and helping translate financial information into clear commercial actions.
• Supporting ad hoc projects and business initiatives across the finance function.

The person:

We are looking for a qualified accountant ( ACA / ACCA / CIMA ) with strong commercial finance and business partnering experience.

You will ideally have worked within a large, complex consumer–facing business , with retail, hospitality, leisure or a similar multi–site environment particularly relevant.

You should be comfortable working at pace, dealing with senior stakeholders and quickly getting to grips with a new business.

This role requires someone who can start immediately or at very short notice .
