The Opportunity
Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars team. In this role, you will take ownership of a designated section of the kitchen, working closely with the Sous Chef and wider culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences across our restaurants, banqueting, and in-room dining services. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining Hyatt’s reputation as a leading hospitality company, while advancing your own career and inspiring those around you.
As a Chef de Partie , you will lead your section with precision, creativity, and consistency. You’ll be expected to uphold the highest culinary standards, mentor junior chefs, and contribute to the seamless execution of our diverse menus.
Section Leadership: Manage and oversee a specific kitchen section, ensuring it is well-prepared, organised , and operating at the highest standard.
Menu Execution: Prepare and present dishes with consistency in flavour , texture, and presentation, contributing to an exceptional guest dining experience.
Team Development: Support and guide Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented kitchen environment.
Inventory & Ordering: Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and ensure proper storage and rotation to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
Compliance & Hygiene: Uphold rigorous food safety and hygiene standards in line with HACCP and company policies.
Operational Efficiency: Maintain cleanliness and functionality of kitchen equipment and workstations, ensuring smooth service across all meal periods.
Innovation & Creativity: Contribute ideas to menu development, seasonal specials, and unique culinary experiences that reflect our brand’s identity.
