Your Mission:

The Merchandising/Analysis team at Wowcher is responsible for compiling the business’ online shop window using both qualitative and quantitative data to select the most appropriate deals to display on-site. By assessing which offerings should deliver the most revenue for the company in the medium to long term the Analysis team will provide insight to Sales teams and Management in order to meet changing consumer preferences and adapt to seasonal change. The team also supports the administrative responsibilities required to get a deal live from the point of signing. The Online Merchandiser will ensure the relevant pages of the website are optimised to maximise profit opportunities.

Your Quests Include:

• Ensure the Goods website pages are merchandised in the most profitable, visually appealing way possible and accurately reflect seasonal focuses.
• Focus on listing optimisation on key deals to improve conversion, including highlighting key selling points and updating images.
• Work closely with the other members of the analysis team to ensure alignment across Goods focuses.
• Analyse conversion and click through rates of deals to identify strength of launched deals and make suggestions for price drops.
• Analyse Wowcher website vs competitors and the rest of the marketplace and make suggestions to innovate and improve ways of working.
• Keep Tiles up to date with seasonal focuses and proactively update these based on performance.
• Work with design to create enticing tiles, and banners for the website.
• Monitor performance on guide pages and keep these up to date to maximise revenue potential.
• Work closely with SEO team to strategise customer journey to deals on category pages.
• Work with the marketing team to push key deals that need increased exposure.
• Perfectly balance deal exposure onsite so that revenue is maximised but content remains engaging for the consumer.

Key Skills

• Degree or previous experience in a relevant sector
• Proficiency in Microsoft tools (e.g. excel) is beneficial
• Ability to analyse data sets in order to arrive at logical conclusions
• Experience in tools such as SQL and Power Bi useful but not essential
• Ability to multitask and respond to ad-hoc data requests whilst taking care of ongoing tasks / projects
• Ability to prioritise and maintain composure when challenged by others within the business
