The Chancery Rosewood, is redefining luxury in Mayfair, housed in the former U.S. Embassy and reimagined by Sir David Chipperfield. With 144 suites by Joseph Dirand and a collection of dynamic dining and bar spaces, it’s a place where experiences are curated, conversations flow, and every detail matters.

As an F&B Reservations Agent , you are the first connection to our dining experiences — shaping the guest journey before they even arrive. This is more than managing bookings; it is about Relationship Hospitality: building rapport, understanding guest needs, and creating anticipation for memorable experiences. If you are naturally engaging, commercially aware, and driven by delivering seamless service, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to all reservation enquiries via phone, email, and digital platforms in an engaging and professional manner, with the aim of converting each enquiry into a confirmed booking.
  • Accurately manage all reservations within systems such as SevenRooms and OpenTable, ensuring guest information, preferences, and payment details are correctly recorded. Anticipate guest needs by reviewing future bookings, ensuring all details are verified and aligned to create a seamless dining experience.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of all Food & Beverage outlets, menus, offers, and policies, confidently guiding guests and enhancing their experience before arrival
  • Actively contribute to revenue generation by applying the hotel’s selling strategy and identifying opportunities to maximise covers and guest spend.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with restaurant teams and wider hotel departments to ensure smooth execution of all reservations.
  • Support the Reservations team with administrative tasks, reporting, and system updates to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Uphold the highest standards of brand representation in every guest interaction, reflecting Rosewood’s commitment to excellence and innovation.

About You

  • Connection — You build genuine warmth with guests naturally, making every table feel personally attended to while working in close, trusted partnership with your colleagues to deliver a seamlessly coordinated service.
  • Guest-Centricity — You have an instinct for exceptional service, understanding that every detail — from the placement of a glass to the timing of a course — contributes to an experience our guests will remember.
  • Influencing — You communicate with confidence and ease, adapting your tone whether guiding guests through a menu, making a tailored recommendation, or coordinating with the kitchen under pressure.
  • Integrity — You follow service standards consistently, take full responsibility for your section, and handle every guest interaction with discretion, care, and professionalism.
  • Drive — You bring genuine energy to every shift, holding yourself to the highest personal standards, going the extra mile without being asked, and always looking for ways to improve.
  • Adaptability — You stay composed and solutions-focused when the pace intensifies or priorities shift, adjusting seamlessly to meet the evolving needs of guests and the service environment.
