Clubhouse Café Manager

We are seeking a Clubhouse Café Manager to oversee all aspects of our café operations. This individual is a leader who will not only ensure the highest standards of food and beverage service but will also play a key role in fostering our vibrant community. The Cafe Manager will manage the cafe team, uphold our commitment to world-class service, and help create a welcoming environment where the culture of cycling can flourish.

THE ROLE

This is a Full-Time role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, inspire, and develop the café team to deliver the legendary Rapha customer experience.

• Oversee all day-to-day café operations, including food and beverage preparation, inventory management, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.

• Develop and maintain the café menu, ensuring it meets Rapha's quality standards and appeals to our community.

• Train and mentor staff on product knowledge, brewing techniques, and customer engagement.

• Manage staff schedules, payroll, and performance reviews.

• Drive sales by actively engaging with customers and recommending menu items.

• Maintain the highest visual merchandising and housekeeping standards in the café area.

• Assist in planning and executing Clubhouse events, from screenings of live races to special community gatherings.

• Always communicate positively about the brand and act as a Rapha Ambassador.

• Work collaboratively with the Clubhouse management team to ensure a seamless and inspiring store experience.

THE CANDIDATE

To apply, you must be 18 years of age or older.

The ideal Clubhouse Café Manager will have the following skills and qualities:

• Proven experience in a leadership role within a high-volume café, restaurant, or hospitality environment.

• Strong knowledge of coffee, brewing techniques, and food service.

• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.

• Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and building community.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

• A proven track record of managing inventory, budgets, and staff schedules.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

• Knowledge of the Rapha brand and an interest in cycling is a plus.
