We are working with a highly respected property consultancy in South East London, looking to appoint a Chartered Building Surveyor to the team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an MRICS Building Surveyor, including those who have recently achieved chartership, to join a consultancy offering a varied workload across building surveying and project delivery, with a strong focus on the residential sector. Experience in fire safety and compliance work would be a significant advantage.

The Role
You'll be involved in a diverse range of professional and project based work, including:

Building and condition surveys
Residential building surveying
Refurbishment and improvement projects
Planned maintenance and repair programmes
Defect diagnosis and technical advice
Project management from inception through to completion
Preparation of specifications, schedules and tender documentation
Fire safety related surveying and projectsAbout You
We are looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor with strong technical and consultancy experience.
You'll ideally have:

MRICS qualification in Building Surveying
Previous experience within a property or surveying consultancy
Experience working within the residential sector
The ability to independently manage instructions and deliver projects
Strong technical report writing and client facing skills
Good commercial awareness and the ability to manage your own workload
Fire safety experience would be highly desirableThis would suit a technically strong surveyor who enjoys getting involved in the detail of projects and professional instructions.
