The role — Reception Teacher responsibilities
As the Reception Teacher , you will design inspiring indoor and outdoor environments that promote language, physical development and early mathematical thinking. The Reception Teacher will lead assessment against the Early Learning Goals, track progress and plan next steps. The Reception Teacher will liaise closely with parents, run transition workshops and support Reception to Year 1 handover processes beginning in January 2026.

Who we are looking for — Reception Teacher profile
We want a Reception Teacher with QTS or EYTS, strong Early Years practice and a playful, reflective approach. The successful Reception Teacher will be confident in delivering phonics, modelling high-quality interactions and creating inclusive routines. This Full-Time Reception Teacher role starts January 2026 and includes ongoing CPD and mentoring beyond January 2026.
