About Pexapark

Pexapark is the price intelligence platform for clean energy. Covering solar, wind, and battery storage across more than 20 countries, Pexapark helps clean energy buyers, sellers, and investors navigate increasingly complex power markets with confidence. To do this, the company combines market-based insights and pricing solutions with expert-led transaction facilitation.

Unlike fundamental assumptions or infrequent RFPs, Pexapark is powered by real market data sourced on an ongoing basis from more than a hundred counterparties. This enables Pexapark to provide a market consensus view on otherwise non-transparent contracts. As a result, both new entrants and experienced players trust Pexapark to connect the dots across every stage of clean energy commercialisation – from pre-transaction analysis, to price negotiation, to post-transaction performance and exposure management.

Founded in 2017 by power traders, Pexapark has facilitated over 40,000 megawatts of transactions and currently serves more than 250 customers across Europe and the US.

The Role

This is a key leadership role within the Finance team at Pexapark. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will be responsible for providing planning, reporting, and analytical support to the CFO, the Executive Team, the wider company, and its investors.

The role will be accountable for ensuring that the monthly calendar of reporting and planning deliverables is met for key internal and external stakeholders. It will also be responsible for driving improvements in the company’s modelling, reporting, and analytical capabilities to ensure the business receives the support it needs for the next stage of its journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clear insights into business growth drivers, risks, and opportunities through monthly financial and key metric reporting
  • Lead the Finance team in consolidating and analysing results, preparing internal and external reports, explaining trends, and developing action plans with the CFO
  • Drive budgeting and forecasting across annual, long-term, and short-range cycles, coordinating with stakeholders and managing P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow inputs
  • Partner with the CFO and Executive Team on performance management, reporting, headcount, key financial metrics, business reviews, strategic planning, and ad hoc analyses
  • Manage investor communications and equity processes, including ESG reporting, ad hoc financial analyses, and oversight of the equity management tool and ESOP
  • Oversee treasury operations, including cash flow and FX management, and develop strategies to optimise liquidity and mitigate FX risk
  • Build and maintain financial models to analyse business dynamics, assess trade-offs, and guide decisions that optimise overall company performance
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Sales/Data Operations, Marketing, and other teams to deliver scalable analyses and insights
  • Identify and implement initiatives to improve, automate, and scale forecasting and reporting systems
  • Produce ad hoc analyses and reports to support strategic planning

What You’ll Bring:

  • A proactive leadership and communication style, with a desire to collaborate across the company to improve ways of working and deliver superior outcomes
  • The ability to represent the CFO across the business as required
  • A proven track record of developing FP&A capabilities in organisations of similar size and business model (B2B subscription, data, or SaaS)
  • Relevant financial qualifications such as ACMA, MBA, or equivalent, with 5–7+ years of experience in Finance
  • An adaptable leadership style, able to lead from the front or from within as needed
  • Experience of managing a team, either directly as a line manager or through influence, is desirable
  • A good sense of humour
