Head of Fitness - Lagree

We’re looking for a dynamic, highly skilled Lagree Coach to lead and elevate the Pilates and fitness experience within one of Knightsbridge’s newest, most exclusive wellness destinations. This is a unique opportunity to shape the identity, programming, and culture of a modality that sits at the heart of a design-led, holistic, and luxury wellness space.

As Head of Fitness , you’ll take ownership of all things in the studio - from programming and instructor development to member experience and operational excellence. You’ll set the standard for teaching quality, build and mentor a strong team, and ensure every class is delivered with purpose, precision, and impact.

This role is ideal for a passionate, forward-thinking Lagree Coach with a commitment to innovation, a strong leadership presence, and a deep understanding of what it takes to create best-in-class member experiences.

The Basics:

● Salary: £40-£42k - depending on experience.

● Full time, salaried position with dedicated teaching hours every week.

The Role:

Programming and Innovation:

• Create and evolve a signature Lagree Pilates programme that reflects the studio’s refined values and vision.
• Develop class formats that balance creativity, function, and results – tailored for performance, rehabilitation, and lifestyle fitness.
• Stay at the forefront of trends and advancements in Lagree, Pilates and movement science.

Instructor recruitment and development:

• Recruit, train, and mentor a team of inspiring Lagree instructors.
• Set clear teaching standards and deliver ongoing education, workshops, and feedback.
• Understand what makes a great coach across other modalities offered in the studio, including Sound Bath, Aerial Yoga, and Stretching. (No need for coaching experience across these disciplines, but an eye for quality across all experiences is essential.)

Member experience:

• Deliver an exceptional member journey - from first class to loyal advocate.
• Collect, track, and act on member feedback to ensure consistent excellence.
• Lead events, challenges, and workshops to build community within and beyond the studio.

Operations and studio excellence:

• Oversee operational performance of the studio, from equipment care to class scheduling.
• Work with reception and booking system to optimise utilisation.
• Develop and manage comprehensive cover procedure to minimise class cancellations.
• Support (where possible) late cover requests to ensure seamless member experience.

The Person:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience teaching Pilates in a boutique or high-end setting.
• Proven leadership experience within a studio or training environment.
• Strong grasp of movement science, functional training, and class design.
• Confident leading and mentoring instructors.
• Exceptional communicator with the ability to inspire members and colleagues alike.
• Organised, detail-driven, and comfortable balancing leadership with operational responsibilities.
• Passionate about holistic wellness and committed to raising the bar in boutique fitness.
