Primary Teaching Assistant – Enfield – September 2025

Primary Teaching Assistant – What the Role Involves
- Assisting with teaching and learning across the classroom, supporting the teacher in delivering lessons
- Small group interventions to support pupils who need extra help, including those with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH)
- Helping with classroom management and ensuring pupils stay engaged and focused
- Monitoring progress of pupils and feeding back to teachers to help track improvement
- Working under guidance alongside teachers to support planning and assessment
Primary Teaching Assistant – What the School is Looking For
The ideal candidate will have a 2:1 or First-Class degree from a top 30 UK university. Previous child-centred experience is highly valued. Schools are looking for proactive, compassionate and committed individuals, with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn. Please note, applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK, as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
Primary Teaching Assistant – Salary and Contract Info
- £444 per week, pro rata to term-time only
- Contract: Full-time, long-term (September–July), term-time only
- Potential for future teacher training or extended contracts following a successful placement
