We are looking for a professional, customer-focused Baggage Porter to join our prestigious Heathrow VIP operation. This role is crucial in delivering a seamless and discreet service for VIP passengers, ensuring baggage is collected, screened, transported, and delivered safely and accurately while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and professionalism.
Working as part of a dedicated VIP team, you will support chauffeurs and drivers, handle baggage with care and precision, and contribute to creating an exceptional passenger experience.
About the Role:
- Collect, check, and account for all VIP baggage against baggage tags, ensuring accurate handling and transportation.
- Assist VIP passengers with hand luggage and provide a courteous and professional service at all times.
- Screen, sort, and label baggage in accordance with CAA, DFT, HAL, and operational requirements.
- Safely move baggage and baggage carts between terminals, baggage halls, vehicles, lounges, and VIP suites.
- Maintain the integrity and security of baggage throughout the entire journey to its final delivery point.
- Complete all baggage documentation, audit records, and compliance paperwork accurately.
- Support the upkeep, cleanliness, and presentation of the Heathrow VIP vehicle fleet, including vehicle checks and handover documentation.
- Work closely with the wider VIP team to deliver a seamless, efficient, and confidential service for all passengers.

- Excellent reliability, punctuality, and attendance record.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues when required.
- Confident and professional in dealing with members of the public and VIP customers.
- Understanding and appreciation of equality, diversity, and inclusive customer service.
- Commitment to maintaining discretion, confidentiality, and exceptional service standards at all times.
- Manual Handling certification or willingness to obtain and maintain this qualification.
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience within a luxury, VIP, hospitality, airport, or high-end customer service environment.
- Good command of the English language.
- SIA Licence.
- Experience handling baggage or working within airport operations.
- Exceptionally well-groomed and professional appearance.
