Department: Nursing Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Priory Hospital Enfield Compensation: £39,392 - £41,953 / year DescriptionPriory Hospital Enfieldis looking to recruit a Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse to join the team. We have Acute 12 beds, female, 18+ and a Secure 41 beds, males, 18+. This is a full time role of 37.5 hours. We offer specialist mental health care to people who are unwell and are considered to be unable to look after themselves in the community. We offer specialist assessment, treatment and care to patients with severe mental illness, complex needs and people who require an environment with security and safety. What you'll be doing

As a Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse , you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients
- Deliver prescribed care to a defined group of patients/Service users that reflect their individual needs
- Assess, plan and deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse. This includes the evaluation and review of these plans, with the patient/Service User, on a frequent basis, that is reflective of their needs
- Contribute to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary team
- Build relationships and effectively communicates and engages with external professionals and stake holders

We are seeking a Qualified Registered Adult Nurse with 6-12 months post-registration experience, active NMC registration, and completion of a preceptorship or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of NMC standards, evidence of ongoing professional development, strong communication and IT skills, and experience within Mental Health or Learning Disability nursing.
