Head Chef
Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Head Chef to join their team working at our client site in Central London.
We have a brilliant opportunity for a Head Chef, specifically aligned to our prestigious corporate client. Our client, a global financial institution, have roots tracing back to 1799. One of their core principles is to deliver exceptional client service and that’s exactly what we expect from you!

A day in the life of a Head Chef:
- Take ownership and accountability of operational food management and financial performance of the food operation
- Provide sustained, innovative and continuous improvement to the customer facing food service offer
- Plan effective schemes to build sales; measuring client satisfaction and increase customer satisfaction
- Be accountable for the implementation of schemes including new products, procedures and menu specifications, ensuring they fit with the quality and subsidy requirements of the client
- Develop good commercial relationships with suppliers, ensuring receipt of service and quality levels required to obtain the highest financial return
- Ensure all daily paper / computer work is complete and that inventories and statistical reports are completed correctly and at the right time
- Be accountable for the management and delivery of budget food subsidy, including GP & labour costs
You will be set up for success if you have:
- A third level qualification (HACCP/Culinary Arts/Professional Cookery)
- At least 3 years’ experience in a senior kitchen management role i.e. Head Chef/ Senior Sous Chef role
- A passion for exceptional food and service
- Proven experience in leading a kitchen team (full time and casual staff) in a diverse environment with a focus on client and customer service
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative
- Proven exposure to managing the provision of corporate hospitality from concept to delivery
- Commercial acumen, strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Professionalism and the ability to present and report on relevant business information
