Senior Practice Management & Operations Coordinator

Our client is an elite, internationally recognised law firm with a strong reputation for operational excellence, innovation and high-performance culture. Due to continued growth, the firm is now seeking a Senior Practice Management & Operations Coordinator to join its administrative team.
The Opportunity
This is a Senior Practice Management & Operations Coordinator position supporting practice group leadership, finance and operations teams at a strategic level. Reporting directly to a senior international operations leader, this role offers broad exposure to law firm management, financial performance, operational strategy and legal innovation. This position is ideal for a highly motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is keen to develop a long-term career in law firm management Duties will include:
Supporting practice group leaders with day-to-day operational requirements, including scheduling, meeting preparation and follow-up
Assisting with staffing coordination, workload monitoring and resource allocation across matters
Preparing reports, dashboards and performance summaries for practice leadership
Partnering with finance to track budgets and analyse financial performance
Assisting with pricing, profitability analysis and matter management initiatives
Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports
Supporting workflow optimisation, process improvement and vendor coordination projects
Contributing to the evaluation and implementation of AI-driven tools to enhance legal service delivery
Monitoring emerging legal technology trends and assisting with practical adoption across teams
Participating in pilot programmes, user testing and feedback initiatives
Working closely with HR, IT, Business Development, Marketing and other administrative teams on firmwide initiatives
Acting as a proactive and reliable point of contact for partners and associates
Taking ownership of projects from inception through to completion
This Senior Practice Management & Operations Coordinator position is a full-time, permanent role. Occasional late hours may be required in line with operational demands.
Requirements
2-3 years' experience within professional services, legal operations, finance or business administration
Strong proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with confidence in data analysis and report preparation
Demonstrated interest in AI, legal technology and innovation within a professional services environment
A bachelor's degree is preferred; relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
