About the department

OneWelbeck Endoscopy Centre is a specialist private facility in central London, dedicated exclusively to gastrointestinal (GI) care. The centre is supported by a team of leading consultants and industry experts, focused on delivering exceptional patient experience, superior clinical outcomes, and highly efficient operations. Working closely with physicians, administrative and clinical staff ensure that every patient receives the highest standard of care in a professional, welcoming environment.

About the role

As an Administrator, you will be a key point of contact for patients, consultants, and other stakeholders, ensuring the smooth running of the centre’s day-to-day activities. This is a multifaceted role combining front-of-house responsibilities with clinical administrative support.

You will coordinate and schedule GI procedures, manage patient documentation, verify insurance, and process payments, while maintaining accurate records and adhering to the centre’s protocols. A strong focus on communication, attention to detail, and professionalism is essential to support both patients and physicians effectively.

You will also contribute to the ongoing efficiency and quality of the service, ensuring that patients receive timely information, staff schedules run smoothly, and the centre maintains its reputation for excellence.

About you

You have previous experience in a healthcare or administrative environment, with a good understanding of office systems and patient care processes. You are organised, detail-oriented, and confident in handling multiple tasks and stakeholders at once.

You are professional, approachable and able to communicate clearly with patients, colleagues, and consultants. You understand the importance of confidentiality, accuracy and delivering a positive patient experience. Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn specialised systems are essential.

Recruitment Process

For this role, there will be three stages;

  • Shortlisting (based on your application)

  • 1st stage interview

  • 2nd stage interview.
