This warm and friendly international family based in Battersea (Clapham Junction), London, is looking for a reliable and kind after-school nanny for their school-aged child. Someone who speaks Portuguese is a bonus. All general Nanny duties are required in this role. The family has two children; the older child is independent, so the role will primarily focus on their younger child. The child is an active, friendly, joyful and responsible boy who enjoys sports, being outdoors and spending time with friends. The family values kindness, reliability and building long-term relationships with the people who support their household. They have previously had long-term nannies (typically 3+ years) and hope to find someone who can become a positive and stable presence in their child's routine. A valid first-aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm Morning (if needed): 7:30 am to 8:30 am Working 8:00 am to 5:00 pm during school holidays (when the family is not travelling)

Duties include:

• collecting the child from school
• helping with homework
• preparing meals and snacks
• arranging playdates
• helping with homework
• playing age-appropriate games together
• reading stories to the child
• tidying away their toys after use – child to help
• helping with the evening routine, eg help child organise bags for the next day
• light laundry of child’s clothes
• occasional grocery shopping
• Must live within easy commuting distance of Battersea / Clapham Junction
