Transport & Logistics Coordinator

Kilnbridge Group
London

Are you an organised and proactive transport professional ready to take ownership of fleet operations and support the delivery of complex engineering projects?

At Kilnbridge, we’re looking for a Transport & Logistics Coordinator to manage our fleet and driver operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant transport across the business.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll oversee scheduling, maintenance, compliance, and driver management, making sure our plant and materials are where they need to be, when they need to be there. You’ll play a key part in supporting project delivery and maintaining our high standards across logistics and fleet operations.

Why Kilnbridge?

We take on some of the UK’s most complex engineering and construction challenges, and we do it with integrity, teamwork, and technical excellence. As an employee-owned business, every team member has a personal stake in our success. That means your work directly influences our performance, culture, and reputation.

We live by our values: Responsibility, Integrity, Teamwork, and Excellence . If you’re someone who embodies these principles, you’ll thrive here.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll manage the day-to-day operations of our transport department, ensuring full compliance with legislation and company policy. Your role will include:

  • Scheduling plant and materials to meet project requirements
  • Managing drivers, job sheets, and timekeeping records
  • Overseeing vehicle servicing, MOTs, and 6-weekly checks
  • Ensuring compliance with Ministry of Transport and Operator’s Licence obligations
  • Supporting accreditations such as FORS, Mission Zero, and CLOCS
  • Monitoring tachographs and taking action where needed
  • Coordinating breakdowns, repairs, and call-outs
  • Conducting regular driving checks and maintaining licence records
  • Managing congestion charge registrations and fines

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with attention to detail
  • Experience managing fleet operations and driver coordination
  • Knowledge of transport compliance and safety standards
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A collaborative, ethical, and proactive approach to work
  • Confidence in decision-making and problem-solving
  • Familiarity with sustainability and corporate responsibility practices

Why Join Us?

  • Employee-owned – every team member shares in our success
  • Competitive salary + car allowance
  • Profit share bonus (tax-free up to £3,600 annually)
  • Private medical insurance, enhanced pension, and death in service cover
  • 25 days holiday + paid volunteer day + flexible working options
  • Opportunity to lead on landmark UK infrastructure and steelwork projects
  • High-performing, values-led culture with serious ambition

If you’re ready to take ownership of transport operations and help deliver safe, efficient logistics across a leading engineering business, we want to hear from you.
