Electrical Mobile Engineer
Covering multiple areas in in London and the South East area of England - Full time

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Electrical Mobile Engineer to deliver high-quality maintenance across a portfolio of client properties within a defined geographical region. You will carry out fault finding, repairs, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and minor works, ensuring assets operate reliably and safely.
This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a mobile environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service and technical standards.
As a Electrical Mobile Engineer you'll:
- Maintenance & Repairs
Deliver planned, reactive, and proactive maintenance within agreed timeframes.
Undertake fault finding, diagnostics, and minor works across a wide range of electrical, mechanical, and building fabric assets.
Complete like-for-like asset replacement and minor new works as directed.
Ensure all equipment operates to the required performance criteria and all work areas meet company standards.
Compliance & Safety
Conduct risk assessments and work safely at all times, following statutory and industry regulations.
Fulfil duties in line with Safe Systems of Work, permits to work, and documentation requirements.
Stay up to date with legislative changes and industry best practice.
Maintain tools, equipment, PPE, and local stock to required standards.
Customer & Contractor Management
Provide professional, customer-focused service at all times.
Liaise with clients, Sodexo colleagues, and the Command Centre to keep work on schedule.
Supervise specialist subcontractors and monitor workmanship to ensure compliance.
Respond to emergency callouts as part of the rota, providing out-of-hours engineering support.
Administration & Reporting
Ensure accurate and timely completion of all documentation, reports, and record-keeping.
Support sustainability initiatives and identify improvements to enhance service delivery.
Manage time effectively to account for travel between multiple sites.
What we're looking for:
- Essential Experience & Skills
Strong experience in reactive and planned electrical maintenance, including fault finding and minor works.
Experience working with mechanical and fabric assets in commercial or office environments.
Practical experience working independently in a technical maintenance role.
Competent with SSoW, risk assessments, and method statements.
Capable of acting as an Authorised/Responsible/Competent Person (Electrical).
IT literate, including Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Essential Qualifications
City & Guilds Level 3 (2230, 2330, NVQ 2356/2357, or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.
City & Guilds 18th Edition (BS 7671).
Desirable Qualifications
Building Services NVQ or similar.
City & Guilds Inspection & Testing (2394/2395).
JIB accreditation.
IPAF or PASMA certification.
