Pharmacy Sales Representative / Player Coach South

This Pharmacy Sales Representative / Player Coach supports the promotion of the customer’s OTC products across multiple brand lines and indications. This role will operate as a hybrid team leader/player-coach position, with approximately 50% of the individual’s time spent working in the field to deliver against their own territory objectives and approximately 50% focused on coaching, mentoring and supporting the wider salesforce team supports the promotion of the customer’s OTC products across multiple brand lines and indications. This role requires the individual to identify local Pharmacies to develop local, regional and national business plans that deliver calls, through both traditional and remote interactions and marketing initiatives across their assigned territory. The Pharmacy Sales Rep will be required to ensure operational targets are met and surpassed by being able to effectively identify the appropriate engagement channel for the assigned target, gain consent and apply data and insight into driving a smart, informed and value-based conversations with customers. You will have the opportunity to:

• Coverage of an agreed territory on which the representative will identify and develop Pharmacists value-based interactions using any insights through collaboration with the customers’ internal teams to ensure alignment to national and regional strategy
• Act as a team leader/player-coach, spending approximately 50% of time delivering customer-facing field activity and 50% coaching, mentoring and supporting the wider salesforce team
• Provide regular field coaching, feedback and best-practice sharing to support team capability, confidence and consistent execution across territories
• Deliver on a well-defined business plan within budget and agreed timelines
• Deliver other key performance indicators as directed
• Successfully complete the distance learning and initial training programme.
• Use of CRM system to support planning, sequential selling and territory analysis.
• Educate Pharmacists on the safe, appropriate and effective use of the products and the future portfolio to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Regular interaction at regional and national team meetings to continually drive a culture of collaboration, support and share best practice
• Comply with all Syneos Health and Customer SOPs and codes of ethical practice
• Ensure that all activity is compliant with local rules and regulations

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree – Life Sciences
• Healthcare / Medical / Pharmaceutical Sales Experience required
• Proven sales coaching experience, with the ability to coach and mentor sales colleagues while continuing to deliver personal field sales performance
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation and selling skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise workload depending on program needs
• Ability to multi-task between numerous tools and applications
• Willingness to travel to support customer engagements and key sales delivery activities
