Sales Engineer - Italian Speaking
Role overviewAlgolia is seeking passionate and industrious Solutions Engineers to join a hyper-growth business. This role is a critical part of the go-to-market organisation, working closely with Sales and Solutions partners to drive revenue, customer adoption and best practices. Key responsibilitiesWork with Sales Teams and prospects on their evaluation and adoption of Algolia solutionsUnderstand and qualify customer goals with KPIs and effectively articulate Algolia’s ability to meet themAssist in the Sales process including discovery, demo, Proofs of Concept (POC), RFP responses and business justificationDevelop custom search applications leveraging the tools, frameworks and partners of the Algolia ecosystemDistill and advocate customer interests, needs and product feedback to Product and Engineering teamsWork with Solution Architects and Customer Success teams on seamless transition to post-sales onboardingRequirementsFluency in Italian and English3+ years experience in a customer-facing technical role (SE, SA, consultant, PM), ideally in SaaSPrevious software development experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Java, Ruby, Go, Node, Python or Swift/Objective-CExperience with data formats and data transformationGreat oral and written communication skills and superior organisational skillsNice to haveAdditional European languages such as SpanishBackground in the search industry or e-commerceKnowledge of frameworks such as Magento, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud or commercetoolsFamiliarity with agentic AI systems, Analytics or SEOCompensationOn-Target Earnings Pay Range £77,000–£96,750 GBP WorkplaceHybrid-remote model with offices in London.
