This positive and supportive nursery in Finchley is currently looking for a committed and caring Nursery Practitioner to join the hardworking and passionate team of staff.
Located in the heart of Finchley, NW London, this nursery has plenty of transport links nearby including tube stations and bus stops, as well as staff parking, therefore is very easy to get to!
A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare is essential and previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting would be desirable for this Nursery Practitioner position.
As a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting children with development of early reading and early maths skills
- Encouraging development through play and exploration
- Planning and leading lessons and activities that stimulate children's imagination and creativity
- Following the EYFS curriculum to assist with early literacy skills development
- Providing an environment that is supportive and inspiring, allowing every child to grow at their own pace
- Supporting children's physical, emotional, social and intellectual development
- Communicating effectively with other team members and parents/guardians
