Electrical Estimator

Key Responsibilities:

* Review project documentation and verify against the Drawing Register.

* Perform take-offs and assess project complexity, identifying potential risks.

* Analyze specifications and project documentation.

* Send enquiries to specialists and issue RFIs as required.

* Input data into Cypher estimating software.

* Prepare tender letters and summaries for submission.

* Lead pre-bid meetings with management.

* Participate in pre-, mid-, and post-tender meetings.

* Conduct Value Engineering analysis on tenders when necessary.

* Attend site visits during tender stages.

* Ensure smooth handover of secured projects to the Contracts Manager.

* Evaluate subcontractor quotations for accuracy and compliance.

* Occasionally assist with large project variations.

Experience & Skills:

* Minimum 3 years' experience in estimating.

* Apprenticeship background (desirable, but not essential).

* Familiarity with Cypher estimating software (desirable, but not essential).

* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.

* Experience with high-end residential projects (desirable, but not essential).

Package & Benefits:

* Salary: Competitive (£50,000 - £65,000 per annum).

* Bonus: Annual performance bonus.

* Holidays: 22 days, increasing by 1 day annually (up to 30 days), plus Bank Holidays.
