A lovely family based in Islington, London, is seeking a Part-time Nanny to care for their baby. The role includes all general nanny duties. Responsibilities involve preparing and cooking meals for the child and supporting the weaning process. A French speaker would be a bonus. A valid paediatric first aid qualification is required for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Duties include:

• Ensuring the safety, well-being, and overall development of the child
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the child’s structure and growth
• Engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as park visits
• Assisting with nappy changes and maintaining high standards of hygiene
• Preparing and sterilising bottles, and feeding the baby as required
• Supporting the child’s sleep routine, including settling for naps and bedtime
• Bathing and dressing the baby appropriately for the weather and planned activities
• Monitoring developmental milestones and updating parents on progress or concerns
• Encouraging early learning through sensory play, music, and age-appropriate games
• Reading books regularly to support language development and bonding
• Keeping the child’s bedroom and play areas clean, tidy, and well-organised
• Washing, drying, and folding the child’s clothes and linens
• Organising the child’s wardrobe, including rotating seasonal clothing
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks suited to the child’s age and needs
• Carrying out general housekeeping tasks related to the child
