About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the maintenance and general upkeep of school buildings and grounds

  • Monitoring and reporting health and safety concerns

  • Supporting set-up and take-down for school events and activities

  • Managing deliveries and ensuring secure storage of equipment and materials

  • Assisting with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as required

  • Supporting the site manager with daily operational duties

  • Ensuring the site is clean, tidy, and safe for staff, pupils, and visitors

Experience and Skills

The successful candidate will:

  • Be reliable, organised, and proactive

  • Have experience in a similar facilities or maintenance role (preferred but not essential)

  • Demonstrate practical problem-solving skills

  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Understand basic health and safety requirements

  • Be physically fit and able to perform manual tasks when required
