Senior Graphic Designer
KOIBIRD is more than a concept store, it’s a multi-sensory world where fashion, art, wellness, and storytelling collide. Located in the heart of Marylebone, our curated space brings together unexpected edits in fashion, homeware, and wellness, all housed within a striking, ever-evolving retail environment. From our bold visual identity to our in-store wellness café, KOI 11, we champion a fresh take on boutique retail, favouring IRL discovery over digital convenience. With no e-commerce and no endless scrolling, KOIBIRD invites you to explore in-person because we believe the best finds happen offline. KOIBIRD has grown into a full 360° lifestyle experience where fashion, wellness, and community live under one roof.
The Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Graphic Designer with a real creative eye, to help evolve and elevate the visual identities of both KOIBIRD and KOI 11.
This role is perfect for a designer who thrives on variety. You’ll collaborate with our in-house MW Designer on larger KOIBIRD projects, while independently leading on others, from wellness social carousels and KOI 11 collaborations to in-store activations and PR events. The work spans a diverse mix of briefs across fashion, wellness, and lifestyle, offering plenty of creative breadth.
As a confident, creative all-rounder, you’ll bring strong conceptual thinking, excellent design execution, and a sharp eye for detail to every project. You’ll be comfortable working independently, managing your own deadlines and priorities, while also collaborating closely with our founder, wider creative team, and external partners.
This is a pivotal role within a small but ambitious creative team, perfect for a designer who wants to leave their mark on two growing lifestyle brands with distinct personalities.
Hours: 4 days at our Marylebone office, 1 day WFH
You’ll be expected to:
- Bring a fresh, design-led perspective to every brief
- Own and manage your workload with clarity and structure
- Push creative boundaries while maintaining consistency across formats
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days look the same
Main Responsibilities:
- Independently plan, manage, and execute all stages of the design process to a high standard and on schedule, prioritising briefs from the buying, PR, store, and social teams.
- Co-design seasonal lookbooks for KOIBIRD’s Pre-Spring, Spring/Summer, High Summer, Resort, Fall/Winter, and Christmas campaigns, as well as two annual press packs.
- Design BAU assets for digital, social, and print—this includes (but is not limited to) presentations, lookbooks, press packs, social-first content, store POS, and café packaging using Figma and/or Photoshop.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to develop in-feed and story content for KOIBIRD and KOI 11’s Instagram channels.
- Design 2-4 emails per month for KOI 11
- Design and regularly update KOI 11 assets, including on-screen menus, creative packaging, stickers, and food collaboration POS.
- Deliver high-quality, original, and innovative creative outputs across all design touchpoints.
- Serve as the brand guardian, ensuring all assets adhere to our brand guidelines to create consistency across all platforms
- Maintain and organise a clear, structured filing system for all design files.
Who you are:
- Experience working in-house for wellness, fashion or hospitality brands
- Proficient with Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Figma (we use Figma for almost everything).
- Collaborative and proactive, always pushing for new ways to innovate
- Thrive in ever-changing environments
- The right to work in the UK permanently (KOIBIRD is unable to sponsor visas)
- Skilled in video editing or animation is a plus
What you'll get:
- 25 Days' Holiday + Bank Holidays
- Summer Fridays, July-August, we finish at 2 pm
- Discount on KOIBIRD fashion and KOI 11 wellness products
- 1 free KOI 11 drink a week
- Hybrid working, 4 days in the office, 1 day from home
- Salary DOE
