IT Technician – Forward-Thinking Secondary School – Haringey (North London)

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Technician to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Haringey. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge who is passionate about supporting education through effective use of technology.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the school’s IT infrastructure, ensuring systems run efficiently and providing high-quality technical support to staff and students. You will play a key role in supporting both teaching and administrative functions, helping to ensure that technology enhances learning across the school.
You will work across a range of systems including networks, hardware, software and classroom technology. The role requires a hands-on individual who is confident troubleshooting issues, maintaining systems and supporting users at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to staff and students
• Maintain and troubleshoot IT systems and equipment
• Support network infrastructure and system security
• Assist with classroom technology and digital resources
• Manage user accounts and permissions
• Support IT development projects
Requirements:
• Relevant IT qualification or experience
• Strong technical knowledge of systems and networks
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in a school setting (desirable)
